A new design featuring a colorful and patterned rooster. I've been having a lot of fun playing with patterns and shapes in Illustrator lately.
Why a rooster? Well, for a while now I've been very entertained by Karen's awesome backyard chicken coop on The Art of Doing Stuff. While reading one of her chicken posts, I thought it could be fun to do some chicken inspired art. I know she doesn't have a rooster, but I've always thought their feathers are so much fun. Hence this guy! I think I might go back at some point and make some chickens to go along with the rooster - how cute could a couch look with a bunch of rooster and chicken pillows?
