Also, I've totally been craving cinnamon buns since you said that that's what you wanted to turn the swirls at the bottom of your painting into.Jackie Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07211067071351187649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-294294345017621582.post-20009972971297513202009-01-14T20:39:00.000-05:002009-01-14T20:39:00.000-05:00hey jackie! i'm excited to see this finished.hey jackie! i'm excited to see this finished.marlene heuerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00199089080401113661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-294294345017621582.post-14123643694405290622009-01-13T15:41:00.000-05:002009-01-13T15:41:00.000-05:00I like drawing the figures best, which is usually ...I like drawing the figures best, which is usually why I start with then. When working in Photoshop, I often work with multiple layers, so the figure will be on one layer and the background on another. I still plan it out, but I often draw them separately when I know I'll be working in Photoshop as opposed to working with real paints. So yes, working in Photoshop has changed how I work. And in the case of the background for this picture, I'm still deciding between a few options.Jackie Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07211067071351187649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-294294345017621582.post-70684649866670653652009-01-13T15:28:00.000-05:002009-01-13T15:28:00.000-05:00Do you normally focus on figure first, then desig...Do you normally focus on figure first, then design your backgrounds to integrate? I often have the problem that I get so wrapped up in the figure that my backgrounds are not very well planned until I get to photoshop.

Do you think knowing that you'll be using photoshop has changed your process in that regard?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
